I was coming from LALA MS and knew he majority of freshmen who were now at the high school. I had been told before that High School is when everything gets serious, but I payed little attention to them. I was also told that these four years will go by rather quick, and I did not believe them either . . .
I was so wrong. |

I felt very comfortable here because my brother was a senior during my freshmen year. As a result, I talked to his friends in school and on the train ride home.

I finally met Ms.Cuprill who brought such a positive aura to our school! I learned to lover her very much, and I knew I could trust her decisions to be the best for our school.

The weight of college fell on my shoulders and the repetitive phrase said by all teachers, “This is the year all colleges are going to be looking at.”

I embarked on an exciting year with rigorous classes, amazing people, and additional duties that came with being ASB President. I was everywhere this year from organizing events with YPI, going to Board Meetings with Ms.Cuprill, attending the Poetry Out Loud competition to support Sandra, going in and out of advisories to do announcements, and several other, but I always found time to spend with my friends. All of these moments have left me memories that I know will never be forgotten. Especially the day I did not get any ice cream.

I was accepted to CSULB College of Natural Sciences and Mathematics and have been accepted to the University Honors Program. Thanks to LALA, I can honestly say I feel ready for my first semester at CSULB.
